Some names never really disappear.

For some people they are just fashion brands. For others, they are memories of a different time. A concert. A first trip. A photograph that still lives in a drawer.
Perhaps that is why vintage feels different from ordinary second hand clothing.
It is not only about finding an old garment. It is about recognizing a part of yourself that you thought had disappeared.
A jacket survives.
A pair of jeans survives.
A logo survives.
And sometimes, without realizing it, a small part of us survives with them.
Walking into a vintage shop in Alicante is not always about shopping.
Sometimes it is about remembering.
Sometimes it is about discovering a brand you had forgotten for twenty years.
Sometimes it is about finding something you never knew you were looking for.
That is why every visit is different.
The collection changes.
The brands change.
The stories change.
What remains is the feeling that certain objects carry something that cannot be reproduced.
Some people call it nostalgia.
We prefer another word.
Aura.
That is the beginning of The Cult of Finding.

A veces significa recordar.
Nosotros preferimos llamarlo aura.
Ahí comienza The Cult of Finding.
